Ramco Litigation Funding sponsored the Little Open Arbitration organised by Baker McKenzie in Madrid, where we had the opportunity to discuss trends in European law and arbitration.
More than 70 people gathered at Baker McKenzie’s offices to listen to the interesting panel discussion moderated by our CEO Cristina Soler (Ramco Litigation Funding).
The following speakers participated in the panel:
- Diego Agulló Agulló (professor at the Faculty of Law (Comillas ICADE)
- Gallego Javier (Head of the Legal Department at Naturgy)
- Antonio Morales (partner at Baker McKenzie)
- Manuel Penades (professor at King’s College London)
Prior to the debate, which was opened by Javier Íscar de Hoyos, president of Open de Arbitraje, and Antonio Morales, partner at Baker McKenzie, our CEO Cristina Soler presented the book ‘Litigation Funding in Spanish and Comparative Law’. The book analyses the main aspects of this concept, as well as its regulation in Spain and in comparative law, from the perspective of various professionals in the legal sector. This book is the first collective work on litigation funding in Spain and was promoted by Ramco Litigation Funding in collaboration with Facultad de Derecho (Comillas ICADE).
Our thanks to Javier Íscar de Hoyos, the team at Open de Arbitraje, and Baker McKenzie for organising the event, and to all the speakers for their exceptional contributions.
