The First Session of the Ramco Litigation Funding –Esade Forum was held in the Esade Law School in Madrid with the aim of creating a space in which to share knowledge, generate debate and be a point of reference among professionals in the legal sector in relation to the Litigation Funding market in Spain.
The round table, presented by Rebeca C., (Vice-Dean of Esade Law School), was moderated by Patricia Saiz (Professor of Arbitration at Esade Law School). Other speakers included our CEO, Cristina Soler (CEO of Ramco Litigation Funding ), Eugenia Navarro (Professor of Esade and partner of LOIS – Legal Operations Institute Studies), Diego Agulló Agulló(Professor of Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI-ICADE), ANTONIO MUÑOZ-MURILLO QUIROS (Director of Litigation at Iberdrola Financial Legal Services of Iberdrola), Carmen Alonso Cánovas (Litigation and Arbitration Partner at Baker McKenzie) and Natalia Font (Professor of Procedural Law at Esade), discussing the conclusions of the most extensive survey carried out to date in Spain on the Litigation Funding Sector The survey commissioned by Ramco Litigation Funding to LOIS – Legal Operations Institute Studies), independent consultancy company specialized in the legal sector, with the support of Esade Law School includes the answers of more than 106 professionals of the legal sector surveyed plus 7 in-depth interviews.
The speakers highlighted the high growth prospects for the figure in the coming years.
The Forum generated a high level of interest and expectation, and it is an initiative by Ramco Litigation Funding Litigation Funding to promote transparency in the market.
